Marriage Licenses
Please remember that getting the Marriage License is your responsibility. Below is the link for the Jersey City County Clerk. Always look for your local County Clerk's office. Typically marriage Licenses last 30 days. Due to Covid that may be 90 days but you must always make sure with your Clerk. It is best to first set a date and then file for the Marriage License at least 2 weeks before your ceremony. The Court will typically have a fee for the license, at the moment in Jersey City it is $28. That is charged by them not at all by me. In the application make sure you include my name and title as Officiant "Minister". After the ceremony I will take care of returning the certificate.
